This spring, I was off on a Multi-nation Journey that brought me back to Burkina Faso and Indonesia.

The return trip to Burkina Faso was to train a pastor and an evangelist with the use of the truck and trailer. There is a definite advantage since they won't need an interpreter like we do and also can minister year around as long as the roads are travelable.

Dennis Posterick trained them in driving a truck with a trailer and backing up which was quite a task.  A few mishaps and then the Lord illuminated how to teach them to back up… Have them practice with a trailer on their mopeds and then applying the concept to a vehicle.

In the evening we taught the “heart of man” team on flowing with Holy Spirit in evangelism, healing and discipling. Since we left, well over a thousand have come to receive Jesus as Lord and since the team works the outreaches in cooperation with the local pastors, many are being discipled and incorporated in local churches.

In order for the outreach to keep going, all we have to do is pray and provide for the fuel and the upkeep of the 1990 Toyota Landcruiser. Currently we are shipping a set of 4 tires and a battery with a container through SIM in Charlotte, NC. During our time in Burkina Faso we also ministered in several churches in the Ougadougou area and had a two day pastor's conference where the Lord also manifested in healing. Many were refreshed in the wonderful Presence of God in the meetings.

Across from the mission house works a tailor, when we were there a year ago, just before returning to USA, he asked us to pray for him for healing of his elephant foot. What an awful sight, upon arrival this time he showed us that the Lord had totally healed him, Praise God!

From there Dennis took of to Kinshasa, Congo where he helped build a school.

I left for Sulawesi, Indonesia via Paris and Singapore to join Edwin Richards, Owen Chamberlain and Kay Reichensperger in some wonderful ministry to local churches and fellowships.

In Poigar we met Pastor Sammy and Ellen and the children they now shepherd.  The children all come from different backgrounds. Many are orphans. Some have been abandoned by parents and others whose parents were selling them for child trafficking are all now under guardianship of Sammy & Ellen.  They are being loved, trained and schooled there.

Two years ago, they only had 2 boys, while we were there, that number was up to 21.  A few weeks after we departed, they took in another 20 children.  God’s plan for expanding His love is being manifested there. Our main goal there was to spend time with the children and just love on them.  Many tears were shed as we departed.   What a wonderful God we serve.

The Lord has given me a message to reveal His desire to have intimate fellowship with His people and that where ever a people will draw near to Him, He will draw near to them. Petrus, our ministry organizer planned a full schedule for us in Sulawesi. First stop, was to minister for several days at his parents church in Posilagon.   We could only go so far by road because of washed out areas where travel had become impossible.  The church is right on the ocean we travelled there by fishing boat – water taxi, that belongs to one of Petrus brothers.  It was an adventurous 2 hour and 40 minute trip sitting on the deck with a tarp over the top to protect us from the heavy rains.  When we arrived there we found most houses were on stilts connected with bamboo boards as a bridge because of frequent flooding of the ocean.   It is a very poor area that exists mainly from fishing and farming in the mountains.

Petrus had brought a worship team together from friends from the Manado area, so the worship was outstanding and the manifest Presence of God was awesome in each of the services.

The first night of service, the pastors wife said I am in such pain, we found out later she had a tumor in her stomach, we laid hands on her and she was immediately set free of pain and tumor. Then a man came up and said he was numb on his left side. We prayed for him and the power of God overtook him and healed him.

On the last night, a young man came up who wanted prayer for sight in his left eye, we laid hands on him and he received his sight at once. One of the pastor's sons took him to walk on the beach covering his right eye and he saw perfectly. It was hard to believe for the eye was totally white as before but he now had perfect sight without a visible pupil.

A healing line formed and the next one that wanted prayer was a girl whose right leg stood at a 90 degree angle from her left and couldn’t walk normal, putting my hand on her knee and ankle, I felt click, click and her leg was as normal as the other, praise God, later that night after we had closed the service everyone went to the beach where she danced with the rest of the believers, celebrating the Lord's goodness.

There were other miracles the Lord did there like the man who had pain over his whole body who was instantly delivered, together an unforgettable experience.

After our days at Posilagon, we had an all day journey back to Manado.

The following day we left on a “high speed” ferry for a four and a half hour trip to the Island of Tahuna.  There, we had 3 days with pastor Hadi and his wife.  We ministered and the Lord brought an awareness of His love and desire for intimacy with His people there that released great joy.

The way back, it was in rough seas onboard the catamaran for Pastor Edwin, our Malaysian interpreter, and myself.   We were traveling in the remnants of a typhoon, which made the ride a rough one.

Back in Manado we had the opportunity to minister one on one with Pastor Sammy and His wife. This also provided them with a “get a-way” for a night from the daily responsibilities of the orphanage.

On Sunday I had the privilege of ministering in a Philippine church in Bitung, again The Lord's Presence was awesome.

Then for my last day Petrus asked if he could get his friends together in a hotel and if I would minister the same message to them.  I agreed and Petrus sent out a text message to approximately 100 of his friends that morning.  45-50 of them responded by showing up.  There was a very mixed audience in attendance, from Catholics to 7 day Adventist to charismatics, students and unbelievers.

For God Who loves them all equally, it made no difference as His Presence fell on them all.

For the teaching program, we had scheduled a coffee break after worship and the first hour teaching, but I got a note saying please don't stop until the Spirit of God releases you.  So I taught for another hour, after which we had a wonderful time fellowshipping and praying over people.   It truly was a God ordained time in North Sulawesi, where He revealed his deep love for His people.
