In Burkina, we have been working with a man by the name of Constantin Ouedraogo. He is a wonderful interpreter for us. Who was himself an orphan, he learned very early that without the support, oversight, and involvement of a local church, the children would be neglected. This holistic approach is of great benefit to the children, the churches, and the local communities.
Now that we have the Toyota and trailer in Burkina Faso, Tonnie and I see ourselves living in the bush, for extended periods of time. We plan on teaching and training, for a week at a time, in a particular village, before going onto the next village. We have the Bible in pictures, and the teaching to go along with it. We are able to take the people from Genesis, all the way through the book of Acts. We are currently working on getting it translated into the Moore language, which is the most used and understood of the local languages.
There are still some electrical needs, along with the translation of bible teaching material, and DVD projector.
HARVEST TIME IS HERE! Please ask the Lord, about partnering with us, with your prayers and support. |
